today is indeed a very good day to blog about :D

hehehe, was planning to sleep in today as I havent been getting enough sleep.

but ytd I attended the Sunway Volunteer Society welcoming party,

I signed up in being a volunteer for the Myanmar refugee kids and the it starts today.

The activity goes on every Friday from 9.30am to 12pm.

Meet up with Li Jean, Jana, Jeslinda, Vui Teng and the committees.

Sat one of the senior's car to the destination which was around 5-7 min drive.

When we reached there, the kids were saying their prayers, so we stood and watch.

Later on, got divided to guide a group consist of 7 years old and above - reading.

I was at first in charged of 3 of them, but it's really hard to guide.

So in the end, I only need to take care of two of them (:

Got to know my two students before the reading session begins.

One of them is from Pakistan, a really cute and sweet boy (:

His name is Sal-Man *sounds like salmon* but i called him KK cause he say it's his nickname.

He told me his full name and it was seriously very long.

Consist of his name, his fathers, his grandfather and his great grandfather. OMG!

Another one is from Myanmar, 8 years old kid name Sampi.

naughty and cheeky boy, at first he was okay, but as soon we got to know each other,

he started revealing his trueself? HAHA started shouting and joking with me.

still cute, especially when he keep imitating my *eyy, focus la* look. LOL

Me : *gives the look*

Kid : *imitates the look* you! *imitates again* NONONO!

Me : LOL

Was guiding them to read for around an hour.

GUESS WHAT? Now I have back pain and my leg feels soo tired. HAHA

The way I guide is standing behind of them and pointing the words for them to read.

I couldn't sit on a chair as I wouldn't be able to see the paper.

So I stood in that position for almost an hour, took a few seconds break though.

Like when one of the kid went to the restroom, I sat on his chair.

But my two students were darlings, they kept asking me if I would like to sit.

In exchange, they would stand. KK even say if I need a chair, tell him and he'll get it for me.

After they finish reading, it was arts and crafts session!

Today they did origami bunny, quite cute though. HAHA

Then they played game where they are 3 teams were competing against each other.

After all the joys and laughters, it was time for us to leave.

The kids gave us high 5's and hugs before we leave, nawwww~

I was stunned when kids came to hug me as I've never guide them, all I did was smile (:

A smile and care meant everything in the world to them (:

Next week, won't be any classes as they are going on a road trip!

Most probably will be Petrosains! But unfortunately I wont be able to make it,

as the event will be until around 4pm but I have econ test at 3pm );

Hope they will have fun next week! :D

Grabbed lunch at SS15 with the others before heading back to uni.

Was kinda awkward and shy while eating with them, but i'm sure everything will be okay soon!

Due to change of plans, I decided to attend the ACS meeting too!

People there are super friendly :D Especially JY and Dayang! (:

Dayang is super good in communicating and she's so bubbly and friendly!

There was only a small amount that attend, therefore the ice breaking game was really good.

Enjoyed myself in the club activity though, which I thought I would never like ice breaking session.

OH well, more events to come! :D

Its been a long time since I post such a long post. phewww~
The kids remind me of my Std 1 and Std 5 kids from the tuition center I used to work at.
The kids I scold for not doing their homework many times,
but after the scolding, they will come and hug and try to make you smile and like them again.
Remind me of Yi Yang and Chrystene, they can be naughty at sometimes,
but they always come and talk to me, and even giving me hugs! :D
awwwww, miss them! not forgetting Daniel and Renise who always give me sweets!
*flashback memories*

My circle of friends is uni is getting bigger by the month. HEHE.

Ee Won, Jeslinda, Jana, Evon, Li Jean, Vui Teng, Amira, Yuan Ji, Linchy, Yen Yi.

Hope I can make more friends la! :D
